Charlotte Pfeffer came to Evergreen Motors in the spring of 2007 to complete her Senior Project for the Science department of the Millbrook School, a private high school in Millbrook, NY. With a little help from Shelly and Daryl, Charlotte installed a Greasecar kit in “Bagera,” her 2002 VW Golf. She will present her car and her research on renewable fuels to faculty and fellow students before graduating in June. Way to go, Charlotte!

In March 2007, we had the pleasure of hosting 11th-grade intern Wes Talbot at Evergreen Motors. A student at the local Four Rivers Charter School, Wes was a willing and quick learner on every subject from waste oil filtration to wrench identification. Here he is, ready to get his hands dirty.

Laura Stamas and her 9th-grade Environmental Science classes from Four Rivers Charter School came to Evergreen Motors for a tour. Having studied alternative fuels and done testing on a variety of vehicles, these kids are quickly becoming resident experts on renewable energy.
